Penn State Football Unveils 2021 White Out Shirt

It’s hard not to be excited about Penn State football right now.

The preseason hype for the Nittany Lions’ 2021 season continued to grow Thursday when Penn State officially unveiled the 2021 White Out shirt design. It’ll come in handy when Penn State faces Auburn for a mid-September White Out.

The design is arguably much simpler than in recent years. It features a creative and subtle “Penn State White Out” design on the front with lyrics to the Nittany Lions’ classic “We Are” chant on the back.

The shirts aren’t up for purchase yet, but you can join this mailing list to receive updates regarding the annual souvenir.

Penn State holds an 8-8 record in White Out games at Beaver Stadium dating back to when the tradition began in 2004. While capacity limits canceled an official White Out game in 2020 (unless you count a snowy matchup with Illinois), it’s safe to say fans are excited for the marquee tradition to return in 2021.

Penn State football will break tradition and host White Outs against both Auburn and Michigan on September 18 and November 13, respectively. Auburn’s will be a full-stadium White Out, while Michigan’s will cover only the student section.
