[Photo Story] ‘Be A Part From The Start’ Introduces Class Of 2025 To Penn State Traditions

It felt good to be back in Rec Hall, folks!

The Class of 2025 poured into Rec Hall Sunday night to take part in Welcome Week’s annual “Be A Part From The Start” pep rally. Each year, the event introduces freshmen to Penn State pride. Of course, this year was no different.

The pep rally featured t-shirt giveaways, appearances from Penn State coaches and teams, and, of course, tutorials on many cheers and chants heard at Nittany Lion sporting events.

As always, the Lionettes dazzled the crowd with an impressive performance.

Penn State men’s basketball hyped up the Class of 2025 with King of Delco John Harrar leading the way.

Russ Rose and the women’s volleyball team made an appearance, too! Nobody owns Rec Hall like them.

It’s safe to say the Class of 2025 was fired up!

*Insert inaudible Nittany Lion noises*

Get used to the “We Are” chants, Class of 2025. There will be plenty more over the next four years.

The S-Zone was in midseason form, too.

Linking arms to a rousing rendition of the Alma Mater is the only acceptable way to end a Penn State event.
