[Photo Story] Return Of In-Person Classes Has Campus Bustling

As summer came to an end, many eager Penn Staters made their way back to State College for the first in-person semester in nearly two years.

The sight of crowded sidewalks, long lines at the HUB, and students nearly everywhere brought familiar electricity to the air…something we haven’t felt in what feels like forever.

Students milling about and relaxing brought a new, refreshing feeling back to the streets of Penn State’s campus. It feels like we’re finally home, in a way.

Events like the Involvement Fair and BASH, which haven’t happened in person since fall 2019, went off without a hitch.

Students weren’t the only ones checking out the festivities. Even head men’s basketball coach Micah Shrewsberry stopped by to take it all in.

Campus may be beautiful, but the return of the hustle and bustle of student life makes it breathtaking.

Doesn’t Old Main just look better with students walking in front of it? Crazy.
