Podward State: Season 5, Episode 8 Ft. AQ Shipley

On this week’s episode of Podward State, hosts Samuel Brungo and Grace Cunningham recap recent headlines around State College with help from Jordan Mansberger, Shannon Smith, and Hailey Stutzman.

Next, our hosts are joined by contributor Charlie Pegler to guest host while we talk to former Penn State letterman and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive assistant AQ Shipley.

Shipley talks about growing up near Penn State, his recruiting journey, and being coached by the legendary Joe Paterno. Shipley also discussed his pre-draft process, getting drafted, and the ups and downs of his NFL career, including winning a Super Bowl and playing alongside Tom Brady. We also learn more about Shipley’s new coaching career in Tampa Bay.

To end the show, Sam is joined by contributor Connor Krause to wrap up Penn State’s ugly loss to Illinois and preview this weekend’s matchup with Ohio State.
