[Photo Story] State College Lights Up For Holiday Season

It may get darker earlier now, but at least it means we get more time to enjoy the Christmas lights downtown.

They certainly did not come to mess around this year. To celebrate the decor, take a look around the borough through our lenses.

The impending doom of finals week may have you feeling anything but holly and jolly, but it’s hard to walk around past 5 p.m. and not feel the holiday cheer.

The streets are lined with lights, and the shops are definitely decking the halls.

If you need some guaranteed cheer head down to the Fraser Shops light show.

As you can see, this person was loving it.

These aren’t necessarily Christmas lights, but the Calder Way fixtures really understood the assignment.

As the holiday season rages on, put on some mittens, get some Christmas shopping done, and enjoy the bright-light sights downtown.

Happy holidays!
