Days For Girls, UPUA Establish ‘Flow2Go’ Locations Across Campus
Days For Girls, the Penn State club that advocates for equitable and accessible menstrual care, has set up distributions for free menstrual products across all Penn State academic colleges.
The initiative, called Flow2Go, was created in partnership with the University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) in the 2020-21 academic year. UPUA had passed legislation to fund the project, and Days For Girls met with the deans of all academic colleges to talk about the need for free period products, in addition to a few preexisting locations.
In October, Days For Girls was busy ordering materials for Flow2Go and putting together kits that would then be distributed to each location. The club was hoping to have the kits ready to go by the end of the semester.
Now that the spring semester is underway, the Flow2Go locations are ready and available to all menstruators in these locations:
- E109 Westgate
- 123 Chambers
- 112 Hammond
- 104 Borland
- 204 Business Building
- 5 Henderson
- 230 Ag Admin
- 100 Simmons Hall
- 111 Ritenour
- 104 Deike
- 210 Nursing
- Gender neutral restroom on the ground floor of Carnegie

Kits containing free period products can be accessed in all these locations just by asking for Flow2Go.
