Penn State Hoops’ Coaches Vs. Cancer Game Set For January 31 Against Iowa

Penn State men’s basketball’s annual Coaches vs. Cancer game is set to return Monday, January 31, for the Nittany Lions’ 7 p.m. game against Iowa.

All tickets purchased through this Fevo link will send $5 to the Penn State chapter of Coaches vs. Cancer. Tickets to the game are available for as low as $18 before fees. You can also support the cause through an online raffle, which is giving away autographed basketballs, gift cards, game tickets, and more.

Penn State has worked together with the Coaches vs. Cancer program now for more than 25 years to help raise money and awareness for cancer initiatives in and around Happy Valley. The Penn State chapter was originally founded by State College native and former men’s basketball head coach Bruce Parkhill.

Penn State’s chapter has raised more than $3.4 million to date. Coaches vs. Cancer was founded in the 90s as a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

The Nittany Lions’ game against Iowa will be a bit of a quick rematch, as the Hawkeyes just dispatched Penn State in Iowa City Saturday. The game will also be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
