Creamery Renames Strawberry Flavor For PA Pink Zone
For all of February, the Berkey Creamery will rebrand its strawberry flavor as “PA Pink Zone Strawberry.” The temporary change is all part of a continued effort to support the PA Pink Zone, a nonprofit breast cancer organization that works to promote breast cancer awareness and aid survivors.
The newly named flavor is available for purchase in half-gallon sizes both online and in the store. A portion of the proceeds will be given directly to PA Pink Zone, too.
To keep the good news rolling, the Creamery also announced it’s reopened indoor seating for the first time since March 2020. Penn State’s indoor masking mandate still applies, though, outside of eating and drinking.
Since 2007, the PA Pink Zone has worked closely with Penn State women’s basketball, which actually helped originate the organization. On Sunday, February 6, the Lady Lions will host this season’s Pink Zone game. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. from the Bryce Jordan Center.
