Penn State People & Their Google Arts & Culture Doppelgängers
Legend has it that every person has roughly six doppelgängers, or look-alikes, somewhere out there in the world. At a school as big as Penn State, maybe you’ll find one of yours right here in Happy Valley.
Drawing inspiration from our ancestors, we used Google’s Arts & Culture app to find the art world doppelgängers of some prominent Penn State people.
Neeli Bendapudi
This looks like it came straight out of a horror movie. Creepy doll vibes for sure. Whatever it is, I wouldn’t want to piss it off. Future madame president deserves better.
Micah Shrewsberry
Google did Shrewsberry real dirty with this one. What the hell is that? The only resemblance I see is the bald heads.
The Nittany Lion
Lions, tigers, and doppelgängers…oh my! I don’t think the Symbol of Our Best would enjoy this one. He’s a Nittany Lion, goddamnit.
Sean Clifford
This one is pretty dang good. Did someone say “reincarnation”?
Anna Camden
This is probably our favorite. It looks like she could be Anna’s great, great, great, great, great-grandmother. You’ve got to wonder if she was good at basketball, too.
Katie Feeney
Although there was no TikTok back when this painting was completed, it’s still pretty accurate.
Bill Donovan (HUB Dining Legend)
Nah. Why would Google mess with my guy like that? Probably the face mask. Anyway, in our eyes, Bill Donovan is the Mona Lisa.
