Three-Star Offensive Lineman Vega Ioane Commits To Penn State Football

Penn State football officially added one more member to its recruiting Class of 2022 Wednesday.

Three-star offensive lineman Vega Ioane announced his decision to commit to the Nittany Lions over Washington and Minnesota, among 11 other offers.

Ioane played for Graham-Kapowsin High School in Washington. After being a star player on both sides of the ball, he finished as a top-ten player in the state and a three-star recruit, according to 247 Sports. The 6’4″, 320-pound offensive lineman is also consider the No. 18 player at his position in the nation.

The Washington native received a number of other offers from mostly Pac-12 schools. Other notable offers that Ioane racked up include Arizona, Arizona State, and USC.

Tyrece Mills also made his commitment to Penn State official on Wednesday. The safety out of Lackawanna College used the February Signing Day to put pen to paper and join the Nittany Lions.

With this pair of late commitments, the Nittany Lions now have 26 players joining their Class of 2022. That group includes nine early enrollees and transfer wideout Mitchell Tinsley.
