Penn Staters Celebrate Snow Day, Three-Day Weekend

The weekend came early for Penn State students.

Due to forecasted snow and ice, Penn State canceled in-person classes through the end of the day on Friday, February 4, the university announced Thursday evening. Some remote and hybrid classes can continue as planned, though.

As you might expect, a handful of Penn Staters took to Twitter Thursday evening to celebrate what’s essentially their first snow day in years.

Happy birthday to us all!

If we had a dollar for every time we’ve heard that one…

The real winners are the people who stocked up on groceries.

As you might expect, some rather spiteful Twitter users apparently aren’t happy that students get to enjoy a day off.
