Page Center Awards To Honor CNN’s Christiane Amanpour February 23

Penn State’s Arthur W. Page Center will host its sixth annual awards show through a virtual event at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23. This year, the show will recognize a handful of esteemed honorees, including international CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour.

The center annually celebrates those who have displayed a persistent and impassioned devotion to the notion of “truth well told” over the course of their careers. Each February, three influential communicators are honored at an awards event in New York City.

This year, the Larry Foster Award for Integrity in Public Communication will be awarded to Amanpour, former chairman and CEO of American Express Ken Chenault, and chairman and CEO of IPG DXTRA Andy Polansky. The award recognizes professional excellence in the fields of journalism and public relations.

Penn State students and faculty are encouraged to join the stream and ask questions through a Q&A session. The live event will be recorded and available after registration for those not able to attend, too. Students are also welcome to join the live chat on Twitter.

For more information regarding the event, visit the Page Center’s website here.
