Creamery & Bakery To Partner For New Stand In The HUB

Update, March 21: The HUB’s new “Cow & Cookie” stand has officially opened. The stand, made possible by a partnership between the Berkey Creamery and Penn State Bakery, is now offering soft-serve ice cream treats mixed with fruit or baked goods.

Each dessert, dubbed “Quakes,” will run you $4.99 or $5.99. Ordering is available through only the Penn State Eats app.

According to Penn State Eats, Cow & Cookie will serve treats from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Original Story: It looks like things are about to get a bit sweeter over in the HUB.

On Monday, students strolling into Sbarro might’ve noticed a new “Cow & Cookie” stand that was seemingly set up over spring break. According to signs throughout the HUB, the new stand figures to serve treats as a partnership between the Berkey Creamery and Penn State Bakery.

For now, it’s unclear exactly when Cow & Cookie would open, although signs around the HUB say it’s “coming soon.” The Creamery and Bakery did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday afternoon.

It’s also not immediately clear exactly what Cow & Cookie would sell — besides, you know, frozen treats and sweets. The Creamery and Bakery already partner to distribute a handful of products available across campus, including ice cream sandwiches.

We’ll update this post with more information as it becomes available.
