[Photo Story] Movin’ On Makes Triumphant Return

After two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Movin’ On made its triumphant return to the IM Fields on Friday for the first time since 2019. From massive crowds to engaging performances, it’s safe to say the festival was a success.

Before gates opened on Friday afternoon, students were lined up ready to run for the barricades.

The festival kicked off with a performance from Battle of the Bands winner Women’s National Hockey League. Following the group’s performance, the Aces took the stage.

Next up, Fitz & The Tantrums got the crowd grooving and clapping along to their songs.

The crowd became so large that it began to stretch toward Park Avenue. As the sun went down, the energy only grew.

After a brief wait, rapper Aminé took the stage backed by bright lights and bold colors.

At last, it was time for the headliner. Arguably the most anticipated performer of the night, rapper Jack Harlow arrived to a horde of adoring, screaming fans.

Overall, Movin’ On 2022 was a great send-off to this school year. See you next spring!
