Penn State Men’s Soccer Releases Fall 2022 Schedule

Fresh off a Big Ten Tournament championship in 2021, Penn State men’s soccer released its upcoming fall schedule Wednesday afternoon. The schedule is loaded with 16 matches, nine of which will be played in Happy Valley at Jeffrey Field.

The Nittany Lions will have their home opener against Rhode Island on August 25 before heading to Syracuse for their first away match on August 28.

In September, Penn State will host two home games in a row against Princeton (September 9) and Lehigh (September 12). Then, for a third home match, Penn State will face its first conference opponent of the season, Wisconsin (September 16), before heading to Maryland.

Head coach Jeff Cook and his squad will have some tough matches this season. Two notable games will be against Akron (September 25), which proved to be a challenge for the Nittany Lions last year, and Indiana (October 14), a strong Big Ten rival that always makes for a nail-biting match.
