Penn State Wrestling Legend Quentin Wright To Be Inducted Into PWCA Hall Of Fame

Penn State wrestling great Quentin Wright is part of the Pennsylvania Wrestling Coaches Association’s (PWCA) Hall of Fame Class of 2022, the team announced on Wednesday

Wright, who graduated from Penn State in 2013, is one of 10 people to be inducted into the 2022 class.

Wright wrestled for four years at Bald Eagle Area High School and accumulated a 154-14 record and won two Class AAA state championships prior to graduation in 2008. He represented Team USA on the Junior World Team in 2008 and earned a bronze medal.

His illustrious Penn State career began in 2008, and he’d go on to post a 116-23 record over his five years in Happy Valley. Wright became a four-time All-American and won two NCAA titles during his career as a Nittany Lion.

The induction ceremony for the 2022 PWCA Hall of Fame class will be held on Sunday, October 16, at the Mountainview Country Club in Boalsburg.
