LineLeap To Host Back-To-School Bar Crawl August 27

Happy Valley is bustling with students once again.

To celebrate the start of the semester, LineLeap is hosting a back-to-school bar crawl on Saturday, August 27.

Bar crawl stops include Champs, Primanti Bros, the Gaff, Doggie’s, the Phryst, Lion’s Den, JAX, Stage West, Pickle’s, and the Basement.

The t-shirt is white and modeled after the bus from the animated TV show, “The Magic School Bus.” It reads “Back To School Bar Crawl, Presented by LineLeap.” Each bar is listed on the back of the shirt, too.

Participants can purchase a t-shirt for $20 through the LineLeap app. The shirts act as a pass to give you access to the crawl and to receive deals and discounts at certain bars.

Those who are not involved in Greek Life can pick up their shirts between noon and 4 p.m. on Friday, August 26, at Champs.

LineLeap is an app that allows people to skip the line, order drinks, reserve tables, and more at all of their favorite bars — for a pretty penny, of course.

As of Sunday afternoon, over 3,200 shirts have been purchased.

LineLeap is also hosting a handful of bar crawls at other Big Ten schools, including Michigan, Indiana, Maryland, Wisconsin, and more. All crawls are sponsored by Truly and Twisted Tea.
