Most Popular Posters At The Fall 2022 HUB Poster Sale

During the first week of every semester, the HUB Poster Sale rolls around so students can get new decor for their dorms or apartments. The posters sold at the sale range from top music artists to classic pieces of art and to popular TV shows and movies.

We were curious to know what Penn State students are decking out their rooms with, so we asked the vendors what the top 10 purchases were this semester.

10. Skull of a Skeleton with Burning Cigarette by Van Gogh

Surprisingly, a painting made the top 10. A solid choice and certainly a conversation starter. Solid job, Penn State.

9. Studio Ghibli

Our favorite animation studio is the perfect way to go for some cozy vibes at home. Looking up at cute Totoro is sure to destress you while you’re doing homework.

5. Frank Ocean

Penn State seems to be lost in its feels, and a Frank Ocean poster is the perfect remedy to that. By the way, where’s the new album, Frank?

4. Tyler, the Creator

Who Dat boy? It’s hip hop icon Tyler, the Creator. He’s really grown in popularity in recent years, so it’s only right that his poster did well in the sale.

3. Playboi Carti

Pull up and I’m flooded with an iced out…poster. Playboi Carti is a classic fit for any college abode.

2. Kids See Ghosts

Takashi Murakami’s masterpiece of an album cover will look good on your wall even if you’re not a fan of Kanye West and Kid Cudi.

The Pittsburgh rapper has always been a fan favorite at Penn State, so it’s not surprising that a Mac Miller poster would take the top spot. Hanging this one up in your house or apartment is only right.
