Penn State Panhellenic Council To Hold Annual ‘Greek Sing’ November 11
Penn State Panhellenic Council will hold its annual “Greek Sing” at 7 p.m. on Friday, November 11, in the HUB’s Alumni Hall.
Greek Sing invites members of sororities and fraternities to showcase their lip-syncing talents in performances that match the chosen theme. This year’s theme is “Dancing Through The Decades,” which will feature songs from the 1920s all the way to today’s hits.
Since the showcase is a competition, the first-place prize includes money toward the winning team’s chosen philanthropy as well as the opportunity to perform their winning routine at THON 2023.
All proceeds from Greek Sing go toward the Gayle Beyer’s Scholarship, which was founded in 1985 in honor of former Penn State Greek Advisor Gayle Beyer. Each year, a woman in one of Penn State’s Panhellenic organizations that demonstrates the same commitment and excellence that Beyer exemplified is chosen to receive the scholarship.
Tickets to attend the showcase are $3 and must be purchased before the event in HUB 217 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m, or on Ticketleap. More information about Greek Sing can be found here.
