Our photographers braved the elements on Saturday to capture all of the action at Beaver Stadium. Let’s take a look back at some of our favorite photos.
James Franklin and his crew arrived in style, accompanied by the Blue Band.
Despite the dreadful weather, the student section showed out. The vibes were high leading up to kickoff.
To honor Military Appreciation Day, defensive tackle Dvon Ellies ran out of the tunnel carrying the American flag. Ellies presented the flag to his father, who served in the military for 24 years.
The offense got things going in the first quarter. Brenton Strange and Nick Singleton both found the end zone, and Sean Clifford overtook Trace McSorley to become Penn State’s career passing yards leader.
On the other side of the ball, Penn State’s defense dominated. Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa constantly found himself under pressure.
Former Terrapin turned Nittany Lion Chop Robinson notched two sacks against his former team.
