Spring 2023 Student Parking Registration To Begin January 3

Penn State’s student parking registration for the spring 2023 semester will begin on January 3, the university announced on Tuesday.

Registration will open up promptly at noon on Tuesday, January 3. In order to qualify for a parking pass, students must have an active Penn State ID and account, as well as their vehicle’s license plate and ownership information.

Students can purchase parking passes for different time periods in the semester with prorated rates. However, they are still encouraged to purchase a permit on January 3 because some permits may sell out quickly.

Once purchased, students will be asked to print a temporary parking pass to display in their vehicles until they receive the permanent parking pass in the mail. Once they receive the permanent pass, the printed pass can be discarded.

Anyone needing a short-term or ADA parking pass should contact the Transportation Services office directly for more information.
