Visit Onward State At The Spring 2023 Involvement Fair

If you’re interested in joining Onward State and want to find out more about it, now is the perfect time to do so. Come visit us at the Bellisario College Involvement Fair, folks!

We’ll be set up in the Bellisario Media Center in the Willard Building from 1 to 3 p.m. today, January 19, to meet and greet with potential applicants. A few of our editors will be on hand to chat and answer any questions you may have.

As always, we’re looking for motivated writers, photographers, graphic designers, videographers, and podcasters to join our team. There’s a place for everyone at Onward State…as long as you’re willing to bring effort and creative ideas to the table. Students of all ages are encouraged to apply, especially freshmen. Our application closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, January 27.

If you produce content for Onward State, people will see it. Onward State is one of the largest student-run media outlets in the world, and it boasts an audience of hundreds of thousands of like-minded people who are eager to read about Penn State and express their opinions. For a more in-depth view of what we do and what our staff looks like, you can check out our full application post.

If you can’t make it to the Bellisario Media Center today but still have questions, please feel free to reach out to managing editor Gabe Angieri at [email protected]. We hope to see you soon!

Gabe Angieri

After a four-year career with Onward State, Gabe is now a college graduate and off to the real world. He shockingly served as the blog’s managing editor during the 2022-23 school year and covered football for much of his Onward State tenure, including trips to the Outback Bowl and Rose Bowl. For any professional inquiries, please email Gabe at [email protected]. You can still see his bad sports takes on Twitter at @gabeangieri.
