Penn State Women’s Volleyball Picks Up Clemson Transfer Camryn Hannah

Katie Schumacher-Cawley is busy in the transfer portal, folks.

On Monday evening, Penn State women’s volleyball announced that outside hitter Camryn Hannah would be the newest member of the stacked 2023 team. Hannah is a transfer from Clemson and enters the program with two years of eligibility remaining.

Throughout her time with Clemson, Hannah has been a standout, tallying seven double-doubles in her freshman season. Hannah was named AVCA Player of the Week, ACC Player of the Week, and ACC Freshman of the Week simultaneously.

In her sophomore year, Hannah went on to play 11 matches in which she achieved 10+ kills, a number which only continues to grow.

In her junior year at Clemson, Hannah achieved second-team All-ACC honors and led the Tigers in total kills for the season, clocking in at 394 kills. In the 2022 season, Hannah also tallied a career total 1,000 points — a total which she will look to add to in Happy Valley.

The Lansing, Illinois, native will look to help fill the spot of Kashauana Williams, who left Penn State’s program to play professionally in Puerto Rico. Hannah will join outside hitter Jess Mruzik, who announced her transfer from Michigan two weeks ago, as well as current outside hitters Zoe Weatherington and Alexa Markley.
