Thespian Society’s MasquerAIDS Showcase To Be Held February 5

The Penn State Thespian Society’s annual MasquerAIDS (MAIDS) charity concert is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, in Heritage Hall in the HUB.

Since 2002, the club has worked with the Centre County AIDS Resource Center, an organization that raises funds and awareness for the fight against HIV and AIDS. Together, the groups hold a yearly showcase to help raise money in the fight against AIDS.

This year’s theme is “Tell Your Tale,” which will feature various singing, dancing, and acting numbers based on storytelling from Broadway shows.

In the case that supporters are unable to attend, the Penn State Thespian Society has also provided a link to a GoFundMe, in which all donations will go toward the Centre County AIDS Resource Alliance.

Tickets are $4 and will only be available at the doors, which open at 7 p.m.

More information and updates on the event can be found on the Thespian Society’s Facebook page.
