THON 2023 Raises $15,006,132.46 For The Kids

After dancers sat down and a few speeches were made, THON 2023 announced it raised $15,006,132.46 For The Kids!

The total breaks THON’s yearly record for the second consecutive year. Last year, THON 2022 raised $13,756,374.50, which at the time surpassed the previous record that was set back in 2014.

This year, 707 dancers took to the Bryce Jordan Center floor and endured the unbelievable challenge of standing for 46 straight hours in the fight against pediatric cancer. A year’s worth of fundraising efforts culminated with millions of dollars raised for a great cause.

Since 1977, when THON partnered with Four Diamonds, more than $200 million has been raised, which doesn’t include this year’s efforts. We’ll continue dancing For The Kids until one day we can dance in celebration of a cure.

If you’re ready to take a look back at THON Weekend 2023, you can relive performances, guest appearances, features, and more by checking out our extensive coverage.

After that, though, it’s time to go get some sleep. As you know, once tomorrow comes, fundraising efforts for THON 2024 begin as we continue to fight for a cure.
