Stage West To Host ‘Shrek Rave’ March 16

Chances are, you’re free around 9:55 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, and wouldn’t want to hit up the downtown bars for any other special occasion. If you fall into this category, Stage West has the ~perfect~ event for your Thirsty Thursday.

Stage West is hosting a “Shrek Rave” on Thursday, March 16. Doors will open at 9 p.m.

“Shrek” the movie was released in 2001, though, there have been numerous sequels and spin-offs since. To Gen Z, Shrek is somewhat of a cultural icon.

Tier one tickets are sold out, but tier two tickets are $18 and can be purchased online. The event is 21+, and $2 green tea shots will be flowing all night. Music will be plentiful with DJ Oz on stage.

“We want you to be creative,” Stage West wrote on Instagram. “Wear your best Shrek fit and come dance the night away with us! Anything goes – You’re an All Star!!”

Believe it or not, Shrek Raves have taken North America by storm, and a nationwide tour, Swamps Across America, has been a dream come true for Shrek fans.

If you’ve ever been told you resemble Lord Farquaad or you’re itching to dress as a sexy Princess Fiona, this event is for you. Commit to the bit, folks. You may never have a Shrek Rave in such close proximity again.

That’ll do, Donkey. That’ll do.
