Penn State Softball Postpones Saturday Game Due To Weather
Penn State softball’s series against the Iowa Hawkeyes will be partially rescheduled due to forecasted inclement weather in State College, the team announced Friday.
The 5 p.m. game on Friday, March 24, will continue as scheduled at Beard Field.
Saturday’s game will be moved to a doubleheader format on Sunday. The games are now scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Additionally, the Nittany Lions’ game on Tuesday, March 28, against the Saint Francis Red Flash will not be rescheduled.
Penn State boasts an 18-4 record, most recently beating Pitt in a 1-0 walk-off on Tuesday. Folks can tune in to the team’s series on the road against Minnesota starting on Friday, March 31.
