Lady Lions To Play In Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship

Penn State women’s basketball is heading to the Bahamas.

The Nittany Lions will participate in the 2023 Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship on November 20 and 22, in Nassau, Bahamas, the team announced Friday.

The Lady Lions’ opponents, schedule, and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.

The 10-team field is nearly filled out and currently includes Columbia, East Carolina, Georgia, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Seton Hall, and USC. The remaining two teams have yet to be announced.

The Baha Mar Hoops tournament annually hosts the largest regular-season event in college basketball but remains a non-bracketed event.
