Your Guide To The 2023 Board Of Trustees Alumni Election

It’s time for the Board of Trustees election.

Throughout the next month, Penn State alumni can vote online to elect three alumni trustees who’ll serve three-year terms on the board. All Penn State alumni who have have a valid email address on file with the university should receive a ballot within the next 48 hours from [email protected]. If you don’t get a ballot within the next 48 hours, you can request one here.

Alumni have until 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, to cast their vote.

Eight alums are seeking election on this year’s ballot:

  • Kevin F. Carey ‘89
  • Randolph “Randy” B. Houston Jr. ’91
  • Ali Krieger ’07
  • Melinda E. Kuritzky ’06
  • Anthony P. Lubrano ’82 (incumbent)
  • Uma P. Moriarity ’14
  • Joseph “Jay” V. Paterno ’91 (incumbent)
  • Alice W. Pope ’79, ’83g, ’86g (incumbent)

Over the next month, Onward State will be publishing a series of alumni trustee candidate features that’ll include some background on each candidate and their platforms.
