Sixty-Six New Penn State Football Players Join Family Clothesline Jersey Program

The Family Clothesline had its own version of signing day in March. Sixty-six new Penn State football players joined The Family Clothesline jersey program, bringing the total up to 72.  The Family Clothesline jersey program supports the players and provides the PSU fan base with authentic licensed football jerseys.

The Penn State jerseys are available on pennstateclothes.com in adult and youth sizes, in both navy and white. Select high-profile players’ jerseys are also available in-store.

Located in downtown State College, the Family Clothesline is one of the United States’ largest collegiate apparel stores. They are excited to become a leader in the Penn State NIL environment, bridging the connection between players and the larger Penn State community.

The initial 8-player NIL roster in the Fall of 2022 had a very positive response from athletes, family members, and fans alike. Sales were very strong because fans were thrilled to have the opportunity to wear their favorite players’ jerseys.  The goal in spring 2023 was to expand the program to include more players, in order to continue to build their relationship with their fans.

The Family Clothesline is confident that their agreement has the strongest player benefits in the current jersey market. This is one of the largest, most extensive Penn State NIL deals, including the most players.

“The goal of the NIL jersey program is to be a good supporter of Penn State athletics. The deal is extremely lucrative for these players. This agreement is the tip of the iceberg. We’re planning additional NIL events including autograph signings, apparel collaborations, and more in the future,” said Caroline Gummo, Chief Operating Officer for The Family Clothesline.
