Senior Week Celebrations Kick Off April 24

The time is near, Class of 2023. In less than two weeks, seniors will walk across the stage and officially become Penn State alumni.

To celebrate the occasion, the Penn State Alumni Association, Lion Ambassadors, and the University Park Allocation Committee are putting on a slate of senior week events.

From 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 24, there will be a THON senior celebration at the Hintz Family Alumni Center. This event is geared toward people interested in remaining involved with THON as alumni.

From 1 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, Penn State Homecoming is hosting its annual Legacy Celebration in the HUB. There will be trivia and free magnets with the Homecoming 2023 date.

From 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, graduating seniors can get a free photo in their cap and gown at the Hintz Family Alumni Center. Later that evening at 7 p.m., Angela Rogers from Penn State Career Services will host a workshop and seminar on starting strong in your first real job. You can register for the virtual event here.

From noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, there will be a senior sendoff at the Hintz Family Alumni Center with free food, giveaways, and entertainment.

Gates open at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28, for Movin’ On’s annual end-of-the-year music festival. Headliner J.I.D will be joined by COIN, Neon Trees, UPSAHL, and Mellow Honey.
