[Photo Story] Downtown State College Farmers’ Market Returns For 2023 Season

The Downtown State College Farmers’ Market returned to Locust Lane for the 2023 season on April 21. From now until November, the farmers’ market will operate weekly from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays on Locust Lane between College and Beaver Avenues.

At the farmers’ market, folks can explore around 20 vendors specializing in locally-sourced fresh pasta, bread, flowers, meats, cheeses, pastries, and more.

Deb’s Flower Farm offers crystal and gemstone jewelry, as well as potted plants and succulents in colorful, handmade vases.

The Piper’s Peck, a Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, vendor, sells an assortment of jams, salsas, relishes, jellies, and sauces free of artificial ingredients, additives, or preservatives.

Keystone Cultures offers all-natural kombucha and CBD-based hair and skin products.

Keystone Cultures’ kombucha is a fermented drink made of organic black and green teas and organic evaporated cane juice that serves as a natural probiotic. Keystone Cultures promotes healthier living by prioritizing the health of the gut by way of beneficial bacteria.

Anna’s Healthy Bakery features a spread of classic farmers’ market baked goods, including organic and gluten-free products.

From Oreo-stuffed chocolate chip to caramel-stuffed pecan pie, Inside Out Cookie will leave folks drooling at first glance. Inside Out Cookie offers vegan and gluten-free options, while boasting 20% less sugar, zero chemical additives, zero trans fats, and no artificial colors or flavors in all of its products.

There are plenty of vibrant and fragrant candles and soaps to choose from at Peaceful Kingdom Farms’ table.

There were many farm-iliar faces at the market with the return of Idou Coffee Company and Moser’s Garden Produce.

It wouldn’t be a State College farmers’ market without Happy Vale Farm’s stunning flowers and succulents.
