[Photo Story] What’s Bloomin’ At The Arboretum?

It’s finally starting to look like spring out there.

The flowers at the Arboretum are in bloom, and the colors are extraordinary.

The birds are chirping, students are hanging out in the sun, and nature is thriving. As you’re studying for exams, there’s no better place to lock in than the Arboretum. Check out some of the scenes below.

If you look closely, there are hundreds of species in the Pollinator and Bird Garden.

Even the bees are Penn State fans.

Calling all ornithology lovers. Songbirds of all colors and sizes are seen feeding from the bird feeders.

The pond is looking extra crisp and clear. Check out your reflection or the fish in the water below.

When you take a stroll through Childhood’s Gate, look through the kaleidoscope at a neat flower pattern.

Now that’s a vibrant pink. If you need a fun background for your graduation photos, these rose-colored trees will serve as a wonderful backdrop.

As Coldplay once said, “And it was called Yellow.”

Before you head home for the summer, take a walk to the Arboretum and check out one of the most beautiful spots on campus.
