State College Police Investigating Stabbing Of 16-Year-Old Male

The State College Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred around 1 a.m. on Monday, June 5, in the area of Plaza Drive.

The 16-year-old victim reported lacerations likely by a “machete” on his back, leg, and arm by a known male. The victim received medical care at UPMC Altoona and has been released from the hospital.

Nineteen-year-old Emanuel Cespedes was arrested following a police investigation and arraigned on counts of aggravated assault, robbery, simple assault, receiving stolen property, and harassment in relation to the stabbing.

“Cespedes was remanded to Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of $150,000.00 bail,” State College Police said in a press release.
