Penn State Women’s Volleyball Releases 2023 Schedule

Penn State women’s volleyball is right around the corner.

The Nittany Lions announced their full 2023 schedule Friday night, which features 29 matches and 15 home appearances in Rec Hall.

Katie Schumacher-Cawley and Company will begin the season with two matches against Florida State and Georgia Tech in the Road 2 Tampa Bay Invitational in Tampa Bay, Florida, on August 25 and 26. They’ll turn around and head back to Happy Valley for the Penn State Invitational to host Western Kentucky, Colgate, and JMU over a three-day stretch.

After that, the Nittany Lions will continue their non-conference slate with two road games against Temple and Louisville on September 8 and September 10, respectively. From there, the blue and white will return to Rec Hall for the Penn State Classic against UMBC and Seton Hall.

Penn State’s 20-game conference schedule will begin at home against Rutgers on September 20. The rest of the Big Ten schedule is below.

Folks can purchase season tickets for Penn State women’s volleyball here for $98. Single-match tickets haven’t been released yet, but those interested can fill out this form to be contacted by a member of the sales team.

The Nittany Lions are coming off a 26-8 record in 2022 and a third-round loss to Wisconsin in the NCAA Tournament. Penn State put together a 13-7 conference record and closed the season ranked No. 11 in the AVCA poll.
