Outside Hitter Marin Collins Commits To Penn State Women’s Volleyball

Penn State women’s volleyball picked up a commitment from Class of 2025 prospect Marin Collins Sunday.

The 6’3″ outside hitter announced her commitment to the Nittany Lions on Instagram. Collins, a rising junior, pledged to the blue and white just three days following the beginning of her recruiting eligibility.

The Lake View, New York, native plays school ball for Frontier Central High School and club ball with Niagara Frontier Volleyball Club.

Collins was named to the Junior Volleyball Association’s (JVA) 2023 JVA Watch List in March. The watch list recognizes high-performing high school volleyball players and those named to the list can compete for placement onto the JVA All-National Team and selection as JVA’s National Player of the Year.

Moreover, Collins was named to the All-Western New York first team and all-conference first team following her sophomore season. She also earned second-team all-state recognition.

Collins is the Nittany Lions’ first commitment from the Class of 2025.
