Middle Blocker Gabrielle Nichols Commits To Penn State Women’s Volleyball

Middle blocker Gabrielle Nichols officially announced her commitment to Penn State women’s volleyball’s recruiting Class of 2025 Saturday via Instagram.

The 6’2,” Rochester, New York, native will be the Nittany Lions’ third commitment of the Class of 2025, alongside recruits Marin Collins and Lexi Gin.

Nichols plays club volleyball for VolleyFX and attends Christian Brothers Academy. The middle blocker was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s (AVCA) Phenom Watchlist for two straight years, which recognizes outstanding volleyball abilities.

Upon Nichols’ arrival at Rec Hall, veteran middle blockers Taylor Trammel and Allie Holland will have wrapped up their careers in the blue and white, and Nichols will join Class of 2023 middle blocker Catherine Burke on the roster.
