A Brief Look At The Best 2023 Penn State Gameday Apparel

Gameday is right around the corner, and Penn Staters are busy preparing. The buffalo chicken dip has been ordered, the tickets have been acquired, and the beer has been bought.

A new season doesn’t only bring new players and fans to Beaver Stadium. Sometimes it requires a wardrobe update.

Luckily, we stopped by a State College classic, McLanahan’s, to check out what the folks of Happy Valley will be sporting this upcoming Saturday and throughout the season.

Cult-y Penn State T-Shirts

Hey, the sentiment is spot on and the flames are fire. Hopefully, people will be rummaging around Lot 12 in this shirt with a hotdog and drink in hand.

Penn State has some pretty electric celebrations, but they’re typically ones that don’t involve lighting furniture on fire.

Penn State Polos

As a Connecticut native, a polo shirt had to be included in this clothing haul.

You can sport this to a tailgate, to meet the parents, or enjoy a classy meal at Raising Cane’s.

Cheerleading Skirt

Who said you need to be on the field to wear a cheer skirt? A classic in every girl’s apartment, this skirt has seen some things and will continue to sell for years to come.

The slit on the side, silver embellishments, and the Penn State logo make this skirt what it is. To make things even better, it comes in white, too!

Long-sleeved Crop Tops

Hear me out. Not only is this top cute, but it’s versatile. It’s 80 degrees out? It’s cropped! It’s October now and getting kind of chilly? Good thing it’s long-sleeved!

In all seriousness, though, this top could become a classic for everything Penn State. Throw on some high-rise leggings with this bad boy and call it a night.

Nittany Lion Ears

You know ’em and you love ’em. There isn’t much else that really needs to be said about these classic ears.

Bandana Tops

Is it a bandana? Is it a top? The world may never know. These tops say “gameday” like nothing else. The tiny Penn State logos are the cherry on top and really tie this one together.

Penn State Fanny Packs

I’m not going to lie, this fanny pack was my favorite item I saw in the whole store. Can it hold your phone, lipstick, wallet, glasses, and portable charger? Yes. Does it look cute on any outfit? Yes.

The only thing that would make it better is if was actually allowed in the stadium…

Pajamas

OK, so I did not follow my own instructions. This is totally not a traditional game day outfit, but it’s so cute I had to include it. I literally fought myself from buying this on the spot. To make things better, it comes in a short set, too.
