Applications Now Open For Penn State’s 2023 #GivingTuesday Campaign

Involved in a university-related organization and interested in participating in Penn State’s GivingTuesday celebration? Applications are open now until Friday, September 29, for campuses, academic colleges, student organizations, and alumni interest groups for Penn State’s GivingTuesday 2023.

GivingTuesday, which is slated for Tuesday, November 28, encourages community and student philanthropy to support the success of Penn State students and programs across the university community. Initiatives GivingTuesday has supported in the past include the Dickinson Law Future Fund, Penn State Blue Band Legacy Fund, and the Blue & White Society.

Last year, the university broke its own record for the eighth year in a row by raising $1.25 million. GivingTuesday 2022 drew the largest involvement in campaign history, including 13,170 gifts, 150 participating organizations, and 10,746 alumni, faculty, staff, students, and families who pitched in to support the university community.

Campaigns that register with GivingTuesday can expect to receive official university cooperation, including access to training sessions and marketable materials to help their respective campaigns fundraise. Participating groups will also be featured on the GivingTuesday website to help further promote their campaigns.

Groups and organizations are encouraged to direct questions related to the application to [email protected].
