‘Happy Valley Rodeo’ Set For September 15 & 16

The first annual “Happy Valley Rodeo” will be held at the Grange Fairgrounds in Centre Hall on September 15 and 16.

The Centre County Grange Fairgrounds have been a location for fairs, concerts, and tailgating for years, and now they’re adding a rodeo to the mix. This brand-new addition to the Grange Fairgrounds’ annual event slate will feature bull riding, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping, tie-down roping, and breakaway roping. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and the rodeo will start at 7:30 p.m

Happy Valley Rodeo is sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association and the American Professional Rodeo Association. Fairgoers can purchase rodeo merchandise, either at the event for $15 or with a pre-purchased ticket for $10.

Presale tickets are available until September 8. Single-night general admission tickets are on sale for $15 for adults and $10 for children between the ages of six and 12. Children aged five and under can get into the event for free. If you’re looking for two nights of rodeo fun, a two-night pass can be bought for $25.

To purchase tickets or find more information about the rodeo, visit the Happy Valley Rodeo website or the rodeo’s Facebook page.
