Teadori To Host Promotion To Prevent Closure

Teadori, known for its boba tea and relaxing study atmosphere, may close on Friday, September 8, due to tardiness on its rent. The handcrafted boba storefront remained closed throughout the summer and is behind on rent and struggling to make ends meet.

In an effort to keep its doors open and prevent eviction, Teadori shared in an Instagram post Wednesday that it’s attempting to raise $10,000 in the next two days.

“Unfortunately, we find ourselves facing some challenging times, but our determination to keep Teadori open remains unwavering,” the post read.

To help attract business and save the store, Teadori is offering gift cards for a 20% discount and a buy-one-get-one-free promotion. The buy-one-get-one-free sale is valid for its jasmine green, black, roasted oolong, jasmine green milk, black milk, and roasted oolong milk teas.

If Teadori doesn’t raise the necessary money by Friday, all eGift cards will be refunded. The shop hopes it can stay in business and continue to be a late-night refuge for students to unwind and relax through the toughest times of the semester.

“Your unwavering support holds immeasurable value to us, and it’s what keeps Teadori’s doors open,” the post said.
