Class of 2025 Four-Star Linebacker DJ McClary Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2025 four-star linebacker DJ McClary announced his verbal commitment to Penn State football on social media Sunday afternoon. McClary’s commitment came one day after the 2023 White Out game.

McClary is ranked the No. 100 player overall, No. 12 for linebackers nationally, and No. 3 in New Jersey, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. The 6’1″, 211-pound linebacker is a product of Henry Snyder High School in Jersey City, New Jersey.

McClary is now the third player to commit to Penn State’s Class of 2025, joining four-star running back Kiandrea Barker and three-star cornerback Omari Gaines. The class is ranked No. 9 overall and No. 1 in the Big Ten, according to 247Sports.

McClary chose Penn State over 18 other schools, including Ohio State, Michigan, and in-state Rutgers. Although he won’t be on campus for a couple more years, check out his Hudl tape here to get a glimpse of one of Penn State’s future linebackers.
