Penn State Women’s Soccer Remains Ranked No. 4 In United Soccer Coaches Poll
For the third straight week, Penn State women’s soccer remained locked at No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches weekly poll.
The Nittany Lions went 1-1 in week seven of regular-season play, gathering a 1-1 draw against then-No. 22 Michigan and a 3-1 victory over Michigan State.
Erica Dambach’s roster remains unbeaten through 12 games but picked up its first draw since its season opener against then-No. 2 North Carolina.
Penn State has just five conference matches remaining before the Big Ten Tournament, including a ranked Wisconsin squad.
Goalkeeper Katherine Asman boasts a career-high .897 save percentage and has only given up five goals through the season thus far. On the offensive front, Payton Linnehan, Kaitlyn MacBean, and Cori Dyke converted goals against Michigan and Michigan State to maintain its streak.
