Penn State Football’s JB Nelson Back In Lineup Ahead Of Ohio State Faceoff

Penn State football regained offensive lineman JB Nelson head of its matchup with Ohio State, according to the team’s availibility report.

Nelson has been a consistent force on the Nittany Lion offensive line, but was carted off the field during Penn State’s matchup with Northwestern three weeks ago. James Franklin hinted at a return earlier in the week, and Nelson participated in the practice viewing session on Wednesday.

Only Smith Vilbert, who is out for the year, and Andrew Rappleyea, who has only participated in two games this season, are listed as out against the Buckeyes.

On the Ohio State side, running back TreVeyon Henderson is listed as questionable. Henderson hasn’t played since September 23, missing games against both Maryland and Purdue. In his four games played this season, Henderson has 295 yards and five touchdowns.

Emeka Egbuka is listed also listed as questionable. Egbuka has been a consistent second option. for quarterback Kyle McCord this season, catching 22 passes for 303 yards and three touchdowns.

Cornerback Denzel Burke is listed as out for Saturday’s matchup. Burke has seven solo tackles, a forced fumble, and seven pass breakups while appearing in every game for the Buckeyes this season.
