Big Ten Releases Penn State Football’s 2024 Conference Schedule

The new era of Big Ten football is almost here, folks.

The Big Ten released Penn State’s full 2024 season schedule Thursday. Penn State’s 2024 slate included three of the four newcomers to the conference from the Pac-12 in UCLA, USC, and Washington. Penn State will first face Oregon at home in 2025.

The Nittany Lions will begin conference play at home for just the second time in the last 15 years against Illinois on September 28, breaking an eight-year streak of starting conference play on the road.

Penn State will open its October slate of games at home with a matchup against UCLA on October 5. After UCLA, the Nittany Lions will make the trip west to face USC on October 12.

From there, the Nittany Lions will move into their second bye week of the season before going back on the road to face the Wisconsin Badgers in Madison, Wisconsin, on October 26. Penn State’s first bye week is in the second week of the season due to the Nittany Lions opening the season at West Virginia in Week Zero.

Penn State will get a shot at revenge against Ohio State at home on November 9 before the Nittany Lions welcome the Washington Huskies to Beaver Stadium a week later. Penn State will then leave Beaver Stadium for two weeks in a row, heading to Purdue and then Minnesota on November 23.

Penn State will close out its 2024 regular season in Beaver Stadium with a game against Maryland on November 30.

The 2024 Big Ten Championship game will be played on Saturday, December 7, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
