The best wrestling team in the country is only getting better, folks.

Class of 2024 standout Ty Watson committed to Penn State wrestling, he announced Thursday.

Watson, a student at Penns Valley High School, chose to pursue wrestling over football, which he is the Centre County’s all-time leading scorer.

On the mat, Watson holds an overall record of 88-15 over his high school career, spending time wrestling at both 160 and 152 pounds.

Watson is a two-time regional champion and a two-time PIAA medalist, finishing sixth both times.
