Transfer Portal Roundup: Week 13

No two things are more synonymous with one another than Thanksgiving and football, and there was a lot of football this past weekend, including Penn State’s 42-0 blowout win over Michigan State on Friday.

With that being said, here’s what some former Penn State football players did with their new teams over the holiday weekend.

Ta’Quan Roberson, UConn

Although Ta’Quan Roberson was held without a touchdown, UConn still defeated UMass 31-28. In the game, Roberson completed 16 of 28 attempts for 174 yards and with six carries for 36 yards.

Jaden Dottin, Toledo

Jaden Dottin hasn’t played much for Toledo this season, as he had two receptions for 29 yards and his first touchdown of the season on Saturday, but his touchdown was a spectacular one. Dottin made an incredible one-handed grab with a defender draped over him for the first score of the game in the Rockets’ win.

Storm Duck, Louisville

Louisville tallied its second loss of the season in the 38-31 defeat to Kentucky on Saturday. In the game, Storm Duck had only one tackle and a pass deflection. Louisville’s New Year’s Six game chances are likely gone, but it’ll still make a bowl game this season.

Keyvone Lee, Mississippi State

Keyvone Lee reappeared in the Bulldog’s offense in the 17-7 loss to Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving. Lee had just three carries for 15 yards.

Judge Culpepper, Toledo

Judge Culpepper is a name that Penn State fans may not be familiar with but many should be with the season he’s had. In Toledo’s 32-17 win over Central Michigan, Culepepper had five total tackles and 2.5 sacks. On the season as a whole, Culpepper’s had 35 total tackles, 8.5 sacks, and a forced fumble for Toledo this season.

Noah Cain, LSU

Noah Cain had another quiet game with only three carries for 12 yards in the 42-30 win over Texas A&M. He’s stayed in the background for the Tigers, recording 156 yards and four touchdowns.

Daniel George, Akron

Akron’s disappointing season continued as it fell to 2-10 with a 25-14 loss to Ohio. Daniel George was held to four catches for 21 yards in the loss. The Zips season ended with George recording receiving 529 yards and a lone touchdown.
