Offensive Lineman Aidan Probst Commits To Penn State Football As Walk-On

Offensive lineman Aidan Probst committed to Penn State football as a walk-on, he announced Thursday.

Probst, listed as an offensive lineman, defensive end, and linebacker, will join the Nittany Lions’ recruiting Class of 2024 as a preferred walk-on.

An Erie, Pennsylvania, native, 6’4,” 220-pound Probst hails from McDowell High School.

“I am truly blessed to announce that I will be furthering my athletic and academic career at Penn State University! Thank you to all of the coaches that showed interest in me throughout my recruiting process,” Probst said on Twitter Tuesday.

Probst visited Happy Valley as a recruit during the Nittany Lions’ Beaver Stadium battle with Michigan on November 11 and committed just over a month later.

Probst and the McDowell Trojans recorded an 8-5 record in 2023, according to PA Football News. The group went 3-0 in conference play and notably emerged victorious 47-20 over State College Area High School.
