Penn State Men’s Hockey Forward Aiden Fink Nominated For Hobey Baker Memorial Award
Penn State men’s hockey freshman forward Aiden Fink was nominated to the initial list for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award Friday, which honors the top player in NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey.
Fink leads the team with 28 points from 12 goals and 16 assists so far this season. He ranks in the top 10 of the Big Ten for each offensive category, and his 28 points place him in the top 20 nationally and No. 7 among freshmen.
Fink was drafted in the seventh round of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators.
Fan voting is now open and will run through March 10. Each fan is allowed up to one vote per day during the first round of voting. The list will be narrowed down to the top 10 finalists and will continue voting from March 20 to March 31.
The Hobey Baker Memorial Award will be presented during the Frozen Four in St. Paul, Minnesota, on April 12.
