[Photo Story] THON’s Annual ‘No Hair Don’t Care’ Fundraiser

One of THON’s most prominent fundraising events returned to the HUB on Tuesday.

Student volunteers gathered in the HUB to shave their heads For The Kids in the annual “No Hair Don’t Care” fundraiser. Each student paid a $10 fee, accredited to an organization or IDC of their choice, to show their support.

The event ran from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and students received THON headbands for their participation.

Some volunteers were, understandably, a little nervous.

But it was all smiles after they saw their fresh buzz!

Some students even convinced their friends to do the first cut. That’s trust, folks!

Friends gathered in support, and documentation, of their friends’ new styles.

That fresh-cut feeling is undeniable!

A nifty photo wall was set up for students to pose for a photo, sporting their new looks and the names of the families they THON for.

We dance in two, Penn State!
